Bryce & Kristi's engagement photos July 19, 2011

Kristi was very pleased with the pictures that I took of Wyatt for her so she approached me and asked if I would like to shoot her and her fiance's engagement portraits! Of course I agreed and we met at Central Park to take them. Kristi and Bryce also brought their son Wyatt along for the shoot so that he could be in a few of them as well. They turned out great and we were all excited with the outcome. They are both very excited for their big day and I'm happy for them!

I had the pleasure of taking Will's pictures! My friend Ellen that I used to work at Kiddie Kandids with is a full time nanny to Will. She asked me if I could take pictures of Will as a gift for his mom. She wanted to give her the pictures for her birthday. She told me before the photo shoot that everytime they had taken Will to a portrait studio they were not pleased with the result. They could never get a picture of him smiling or looking at the camera. My main goal going into this session was to give his mother a beautiful picture of her amazing little boy smiling. I loved taking pictures of Will. He was so full of life and such an amazing child. I got some pictures of him smiling and it made my week. It made his mom happy too and I'm so glad that I could capture him smiling for her!

The beginning.

Photography has always been somewhat of a passion of mine. I love how someone can create a lasting memory for another person just by using a camera. I honestly didn't think I would ever pursue photography as a career but things change and people change and now I'm just fortunate to be doing something that I love. When I graduated Highschool I got a job, my first job, at a place called Kiddie Kandids. It was a photography studio that specialized in Children's photos. We also did a lot of family and maternity portraits as well. I was nervous at first..to do a job like that you had to be very outgoing and get completely out of your element to capture the childs attention. Once I got used to the job though I fell in love with it. To see the smile on a mother or fathers face once they've seen the finished product of what I had created for them made me feel so happy for them and complies her in what I’d set out to do .
